Emily and Mike went with Electra Cruises for their ceremony and reception, doing a day wedding and shooting at the beach (Laguna Beach) during sunset. The nice thing about having a hotel like the Vacation Village is that you don’t need permit fees to take pictures on the scenic Laguna Beach.

Wedding – Jia and Jason

Jia and Jason started at the Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach and proceeded over to their yacht with Electra Cruises. A cute couple from New York, they decided to have their wedding here (most of Jason’s family is in southern California). Luckily, I was able to pull in a second photographer, Judy, to help capture their wedding day.

The formals were fun with a silly wedding party. The groomsmen would always tease Jason, which made the day that much more fun.

Then we went over to the boat for some more formal shots on the top deck of the boat. I loved how the clouds filled the whole sky, giving me a perfect backdrop.

After that we went inside to prepare for the yacht launch and ceremony.
