Judy and I were recently married, which makes us a husband-wife team!!!

I’m such a dork. Jeni and Jay had their wedding reception at the Milwaukee Public Museum, where Samson (a famous award-winning stuffed gorilla) is housed. They happily went along with this:

I shot Cristina and Daniel today at the La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes today.  She got ready at her parents’ home in Lomita.

Stephanie and Nathan got married down in San Juan Capistrano at this awesome ranch called Rancho Capistrano.  They originally met in North Carolina, but they are settling here in Orange County.

Theresa and Darryl are both from Atlanta, but decided to have their wedding at a friend’s house up in Pasadena.  They are an awesome couple together.  Darryl is really goofy and it shows in the photos.

I was shooting for Steve Hoffmann today and got a chance to experiment with my new Pocket Wizard (PW for short) Mini TT1 and TT5. 

Cynthia and Rick had a small and intimate wedding with just them, the officiant, and me.

Shara and Jason had their wedding at the Centennial Heritage Museum in Santa Ana.  I stopped by their home in Anaheim for getting ready pictures and the rest of the day was at the museum.  The building is amazing in texture and character (a photographer’s dream). Today I shot Hannah and Kevin, a Korean couple, at the beautiful St. Regis Resort in Monarch Bay.  They brought in a Korean ceremony specialist that dressed them in the full traditional outfits, which took place during the reception (so they could still have a Christian ceremony). Michelle and Matt had an intimate day wedding in Laguna Beach at Tivoli Terrace. 

Today we hiked out to Temecula for a wedding at Faulkner Winery.  I had Lawrence (from Furious Photographers) as my second shooter and he rocked it like always. 

Michelle and Beau chose the Brookside Equestrian in Walnut, which was an amazing outdoor venue.

Britt and Lloyd had a small and intimate wedding in Laguna Beach at the Pacific Edge.

I shot Tiffanie and Henk this weekend in Marina Del Rey.  Starting with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony, they then had a Catholic ceremony in Venice and a modern reception at The Victorian in Santa Monica.

Julie and Ovi chose the amazing Castle Green in Pasadena for their wedding. See below for a slideshow of some of the photographs from their day.

Brigetta and Sidney are actually from up north and wanted an intimate ceremony near the Malibu Beach bluffs.  Here are some of the photographs!

Marissa and Tim had an LDS wedding, where instead of an engagement shoot I was able to shoot their ceremony on a different day as the reception.  We did a photo session at the temple (which rocked) and had a reception in their backyard a couple days later (which also rocked).  I like intimate weddings [...]

My first wedding in Las Vegas! It was for a close family friend’s daughter. David was shipped off to Iraq less than two weeks later, so I hope these pictures keep him in good company halfway across the world.

Judy and I were there for a very busy day! They had 3 ceremonies (Vietnamese, Catholic, and Buddhist) with a star-studded reception.

Gayle and Peter are local to me in Pasadena and are a cool, laid-back couple. They had the ceremony at the First United Methodist Church of Pasadena and their wedding reception at the Pasadena Hilton.

Emily and Mike went with Electra Cruises for their ceremony and reception, doing a day wedding and shooting at the beach (Laguna Beach) during sunset. The nice thing about having a hotel like the Vacation Village is that you don’t need permit fees to take pictures on the scenic Laguna Beach.

Today we started at the Le Merigot Hotel in Santa Monica. The ceremony and reception was at the Inn of the Seventh Ray, a great little restaurant in Topanga Canyon.

I’ve been neglecting my blog for the past two months, but I’ve just been so busy with going to Vietnam and the wedding season that I can’t get pics up. Well, here’s me catching up!

Laura and Cesar were married at The Grand in Long Beach with pictures at Eisenhower Park in Orange.

Loryn and Todd were married at the amazing Pacific Edge in Laguna Beach. Right next to the Beach House, the Pacific Edge is a great beach location that allows you to have an intimate wedding with the ambiance of Laguna Beach’s amazing views. The ocean breeze and view made for a perfect wedding day!
