GAVIN PHOTOGRAPHY

Today I shot Mirna and Marcus over at the Getty Center in West Los Angeles.  They are getting married in Miami later this year, but wanted some Los Angeles engagement photos over here in socal.

Today I shot Tiff and Greg.  They’re having their wedding at the Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, which is actually one of the first venues I had second-shot at. 

Today I shot Afsoon and Mehdi, who are getting married in Iran but wanted their engagement pictures here at home in Los Angeles. We started at UCLA and hopped down to Santa Monica.

Kelly and Glen decided on UCLA and Santa Monica for their pics, so I try to get new pics whenever I shoot at the same location (especially when it is the next week).

Today I shot Sudheer and Caitlin’s engagement photo session. We all descended from UCLA (actually I ascended from the bowels of the engineering hall, Boelter), so it was pretty cool to visit old hangout spots. Many of these spots were awesome for that midday college nap in the shady grass of a brick building.

Today I shot Ashley and Johnny in downtown Los Angeles and then out in the hillside above Covina.

Hayley and Scott are eloping out of the country for their wedding, but they did their engagement shoot locally here in Southern California.   We started at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and wandered around downtown Los Angeles.  After that we hit up some awesome graffiti’d walls in other parts of Los Angeles.

Cara and Jason chose Huntington Beach for their shoot (since they live a few miles away).  We started at their apartment and from there hopped over the the Huntington Hyatt.

Michelle, Beau, and I hit up the Santa Ana Train Station, along with Downtown Orange (his family was first generation there).

Hannah and Kevin are getting married at the St. Regis Monarch Beach, so we started there and finished in Laguna Beach.

Woohoo! My first time traveling out of state for photography! Kendra and Peter wanted their engagement shoot to be in Hawaii (where she grew up). So I packed my bags and spent two days in Hawaii…without Judy

Today I did Uyen and Ron’s engagement shoot at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, which is actually where he proposed to her. After that we headed down to Santa Monica to finish up the shoot.

Janelle and Chris are active and wanted to hit up Big Bear for their engagement shoot (we had to reschedule again and again for the snow). The snow and deep blue sky made for some amazing photographs.

Rachelle and Chris are getting married at the Reef in Long Beach (next to the Coast Hotel). They chose Shoreline Village as their engagement photo location.

Mary Joan and Louis wanted to keep their shoot local to the Dove Canyon Country Club in Coto de Caza (their wedding is there) and Rancho Santa Margarita (RSM).

Today I did an engagement photography session with Melissa and Dennis, which is nuts because their wedding is on the 9th (3 days later)! They chose to start at the Getty Center in West Los Angeles and they brought their own picnic basket.

Today I did some engagement photography in Laguna Beach, hopping across a couple beaches and then ending up in Dana Point at the St. Regis Monarch Bay and the beach down below the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point.

Yesterday I did an engagement photography session with Melissa and Kevin, an OC couple that wanted some LA flair to their shoot. They are my 777 for wedding photography, which they were lucky to get a golf course that opened up their bookings earlier this year (way later than most brides that already had their [...]

Danielle and Chris out of Marina Del Rey are actually getting married in Australia at the end of this year. Danielle stumbled across my engagement photographs and decided to hire me for a shoot at The Getty Center in West Los Angeles. Beautiful location and architecture. Adorable couple. Happy photographer.

Today I shot Katie and Casey’s engagement photography at his parent’s home in Anaheim Hills. His father specializes in pool design, so I had some great backgrounds to work with. That and they are a really cute couple.

I love doing photography at Disneyland! Laura and Cesar were fun to shoot with and there are way too many good pictures to show.

Today I shot Christy and Aaron. They live and breathe Long Beach, so we shot down at the Shoreline Village and Shoreline Park.

Yesterday I shot Loryn and Todd at the Fullerton Arboretum and then at Downtown Disney in Anaheim.

I did the engagement photography for Jia and Jason yesterday at Fashion Island in Irvine, followed by going to the Corona Del Mar beach right next to Newport Beach.

Jessica and Trent were so much fun to shoot today! They brought bikes, but more importantly brought their little “dorgie.” We shot up and down Laguna Beach and even though it was really foggy we came up with some amazing photographs.

I am officially spoiled with having a unique name, because the whole shoot I’d turn my head every time I heard “Gavin” from Christine! A fun and lovable couple, Christine and Gavin decided to have their engagement photography at the Long Beach Shoreline Village and Marina.

This Monday I went to Disneyland with Irene and Jimmy for their engagement photography (Orange County in this case).

I did a professional engagement photography session for Donna and Matt at the Santa Monica Pier, the Santa Monica beach, and the 3rd Street Promenade. A cute and affectionate couple, they were great to shoot and it led to some good candid moments.

We shot at Huntington beach in Orange County, starting at the Huntington Beach Hyatt and taking photographs down to the pier. Their engagement photography session was very relaxed and mellow.
