Family Portraits – My Family for Easter
April 12th, 2009 | Published in Family Portraits | 4 Comments
Somehow I became the designated family photographer. Go figure. So for Easter I setup an outdoor studio in my brother’s backyard and we knocked out family portraits for pretty much the entire family on his side. Here are some of the results. Oh yeah, no photoshopping. Most of these are straight out of the camera.

And here is Judy, being Judy…

I also did some quickie Senior Portraits while I was at it.

Beautiful photos of what appears to be a great family and great personalities!

Hi I’m new to photography and I see that your skies are beautiful. Did you use a natural density gradated filter to achieve this color?

Nope. I shot the whole thing at iso50, 1/160th, and around f8 to get the background. The rest is lit by studio lights. The images are almost all straight out of camera, colors included.

I love all of the pics. I am VERY new to photograhpy. I was just wondering why did you use studio lighting outside?
