Diana and Norberto

I did a half day of wedding photography today for Diana and Norberto. Living in New Jersey, they had their wedding here in Southern California in Long Beach. Here is the St. Lucy Catholic Church and Norberto being a little nervous before the ceremony (of the ceremony, not of getting married I hope!).

Here are some detail shots
They had a full Catholic ceremony
Since they had a small wedding party (most of their friends and family are back east), they had a small reception dinner at the Napa Rose in the Grand Californian Hotel at Disneyland (near Downtown Disney). We did some couple shots there in the lobby of the hotel.

They had booked me as a wedding photographer at the last second, which had it’s effect on the photographic opportunities of the day. Feel free to call me at 323.605.4224 if you have questions to help avoid this and make the most out of your wedding photographer.

I think that you had a bit too much pictures of wedding details (although they were beautiful shoots) rather than the bride and the groom together. Other than that…the pictures came out very nice and very artistic.

Yeah, the bride and groom were very shy of the camera. They hadn’t done an engagement shoot with me (I usually require this) since their wedding was so impromptu. Otherwise they would have been more comfortable in the photographs and also looking forward to being photographed. The bride would always turn her head away from me in shyness, where an engagement photography session would have fixed that inclination.
